不思議なエネルギー変換実験

上の写真の灰色のケーブルは10本の導線が束ねられています。十芯ケーブルと言います。

この十芯ケーブルは中の導線が色で分けられているのですが、この導線をズラして配線することで、一重の円を作るだけでで10回巻きのコイルになるのです。ちなみに1メートルで150円です。ふたばは6m購入しました。ラジカセの音楽をアンプで増幅させて十芯ケーブルに電流として流します。

スピーカーに繋いだコイルを近づけるだけで音楽が鳴り始めました。十芯ケーブルがコイルとして磁力をもち、その磁力によって電磁誘導されたからですね。面白いです。

弱い電流でも音に変えられるセラミックイヤホンを使えばアンプ無しでも音を聞くことができます。

逆に十芯ケーブル側にもアンプを繋げ、スピーカー側にもアンプを繋げれば、上の写真のように一重の輪っかで音を鳴らすことができます。

紙コップスピーカーでは、磁石をつけた紙コップだけで音が聞こえます。面白いです。エネルギーの変換の単元で子どもたちにぜひやらせたいと思った実験でした。
