授業で使えるアプリ18 光のレンズの授業で使える「Pocket Optics」

今年は久しぶりに一年生の授業を担当しました。私は普段androidファブレット(タブレットじゃないよ♫)で授業をしているので、授業で使えるアンドロイドアプリを調べてみました。するとたくさんの素晴らしいアプリがあることに気づかされました。注目すべきは海外のアプリです。日本語検索では引っかかってこないので、ご存知ではない先生も多いと思います。今回はふたばが見つけた光の授業で使える海外アプリ「Pocket Optics」をご紹介したいと思います。

↑アプリ起動時の画面です。画面上にアイコンがあり、直進光、散乱光、物体、スリット、凸レンズ、凹レンズを画面上の好きな位置に配置することができます。物体とレンズを配置すると下のようになります。

このアプリの素晴らしいところは、簡単に物体や焦点の位置を自由に変えられるところです。

↑焦点距離の２倍の位置に物体を置いた図。上に数字でメモリがふられてあるので、ちょうど焦点距離の２倍だということがわかります。

↑もちろん、虚像にも対応しています。

↑直進する光も授業で使えそうです。

↑凹レンズや散乱光、レンズ、スリットなどを置いた図、・・・もはやカオスです（笑）

光の進み方を直感的に学習できる素晴らしいアプリです。授業でもとても使いやすいアプリなので、光の単元を教える際はぜひ活用してみてください。
