準備物

アンモニア性性硝酸銀の還元による銀鏡反応

ベネジクト液は糖の還元性によって色が変わります。今回はアンモニア性硝酸銀を糖で還元することで銀鏡反応させる実験です。

準備物

硝酸銀水溶液

0.1mol/lの硝酸銀水溶液を10mlはかりとります。

アンモニア水

3mol/l のアンモニア水を滴下すると褐色の沈殿が発生します。AgO2です。ここにさらにアンモニア水を滴下するAg(NH3)2になり沈殿がなくなり、溶液が透明になります。完全に透明になるまでアンモニア水を滴下します。完全に透明になったら、3%グルゴース水溶液やコーラなどの還元性のある糖類を一滴加えて温めます

はじめは黒い沈殿が起こり次第に・・・

試験管が鏡のように輝きます。銀鏡反応です。素晴らしい輝きです。糖類が還元性を持つことがわかる実験でした。
